You already know
the good stuff.
Become a Must Do Key West Local Guide. The recommendations you give friends — the honest captain, the real happy hour, the sunset spot to skip — become part of the island's curated guide. Locals become the local experts. That's the whole idea.
Your picks, your island, your voice — backed by the guide visitors already trust.
Locals already do the guiding.
Let's make it count.
Every day in Key West, someone tells a visitor which bar has the real happy hour, which snorkel trip isn't a tourist trap, and which sunset spot to skip. That word-of-mouth is the most valuable thing on the island — and the locals behind it almost never see a cut. The Local Guide program is how we change that.
Four steps, one afternoon
Tell us your Key West
Your name, your corner of the island, and the spots you already send friends to — the sunset that isn't a tourist trap, the honest captain, the real happy hour.
We build your picks
We turn your recommendations into a shareable set of must-dos you can hand to anyone — a link and a QR code for your table, your bar, your feed.
Share the good stuff
Point people to what's worth their vacation time. When they book one of your picks, it's tracked back to you — no clipboards, no vouchers.
Earn on real bookings
The idea is simple: locals get paid for the recommendations they've been giving away for free. We're finalizing the details now (see the note below).
Built for people who already know the island
Key West locals
You already know the good bars, the honest captains, and the sunset spots that don't suck. This is about getting paid for recs you've been giving away free.
Bartenders & servers
You're asked "what should we do tomorrow?" ten times a shift. One link at the table, and the good answer becomes part of the tip.
Charter captains & guides
Send overflow trips to trusted friends' boats. Point guests to the rest of the island when you're off the water.
Hotel & concierge desks
One set of vetted picks at the desk. Guests book excursions, cart rentals, and dinners you'd actually recommend — the real Key West, curated.
Put your Key West
on the map.
We're opening the Local Guide program to Conchs first. Tell us who you are and the places you love — we'll reach out as it goes live.

- What is a Local Guide?
- A Conch — or anyone who truly knows Key West — whose recommendations become part of Must Do Key West. It's the human layer on top of the curation: real people pointing visitors to the good stuff.
- Is this live yet?
- The Local Guide program is being built. Right now you can raise your hand and we'll reach out as it opens — founders on the island get first call.
- Do I need a big following?
- No. We're looking for people who genuinely know the island and give honest recommendations. A 500-follower local beats a 50,000-follower generalist for our audience.
- How would getting paid work?
- The intent is a fair commission on bookings that come through your picks. We're finalizing the terms before anyone earns a cent — we won't publish numbers we can't stand behind.
The Local Guide program is in development. Commissions and terms are being finalized before any payouts begin — we won't publish numbers we can't stand behind. Bookings are made direct with verified operators via FareHarbor. Florida Seller of Travel — registration in process (Reg. No. ___).
